What We Offer
We believe that self-care should be accessible even for parents. That’s why Lucid Yoga offers on-site childcare during select classes, so you can take time for your practice knowing your child is in good hands.
Our childcare space provides a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 12 months to 9 years. We also offer limited availability for infants 6–12 months, please reach out in advance so we can discuss availability and determine if we’re able to accommodate your needs. With compassionate, attentive caregivers and mindful, play-based activities, we aim to create a calm and creative atmosphere for your child. Childcare is available during select class times. How To Book
Childcare will appear as a separate “class” when you book. Simply book your spot as you would with a yoga class using your childcare package or membership when reserving your yoga class.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use childcare at Lucid Yoga?
Childcare is available for children 6 months and older while a parent or guardian is attending a class. Older children may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, provided they are self-sufficient and do not disrupt the environment.
How long can my child stay in childcare?
Children may stay for a maximum of 90 minutes per visit. Parents/guardians must remain on-site at Lucid Yoga for the duration of their class.
Do I need to reserve childcare in advance?
Yes, childcare spots are limited. Please schedule your child before booking your class to ensure availability.
What should I bring for my child?
You may bring:
- A labeled diaper bag with a change of clothes (if needed)
- A comfort item (small blanket or stuffed animal)
- A sealed, nut-free snack (optional)
What if my child needs a diaper change?
Our staff does not change diapers. If a diaper change is needed, we will notify you to return to the childcare area.
Can my child use the restroom during childcare?
Children must be able to use the restroom independently or with minimal assistance. Parents can choose whether staff is permitted to take their child to the bathroom. If permission is not granted, the parent will be contacted if their child needs assistance.
Can I bring snacks for my child?
Yes, you may bring a small, allergen-free snack in a sealed container. We do not provide snacks.
What happens if my child becomes sick?
Children who are sick or showing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, vomiting, rash, etc.) cannot attend childcare. If your child becomes ill while in our care, we will notify you immediately for pick-up.
How does pick-up work?
Only individuals listed on your authorized pick-up list will be allowed to pick up your child. A valid ID may be required for verification.
What if I am late picking up my child?
Children must be picked up within 10 minutes after class ends. Late pick-ups may result in additional charges or suspension from childcare services.
What happens in case of an emergency?
If there is an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If medical attention is required, we will follow the emergency procedures outlined in the waiver.
