What We Offer
We believe that self-care should be accessible even for parents. That’s why Lucid Yoga offers on-site childcare during select classes, so you can take time for your practice knowing your child is in good hands.
Our childcare space provides a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 12 months to 8 years. We also offer limited availability for infants 6–12 months, please reach out in advance so we can discuss availability and determine if we’re able to accommodate your needs. With compassionate, attentive caregivers and mindful, play-based activities, we aim to create a calm and creative atmosphere for your child. Childcare is available during select class times. Check our schedule for current availability.
Pricing
Childcare is available during select class times while you’re attending a yoga class on-site. All passes are valid indefinitely and can be used during any class with childcare:

One drop-in covers one session for the number of children selected. Please choose the pass that reflects how many children you’ll be bringing that day.
How To Book
Childcare appears as a separate listing from your yoga class when booking. Simply select the childcare pass that matches your family’s needs and reserve your spot.
Reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. If no children are booked by that time, childcare will be canceled.
Space is limited to 5 children per session. We track this manually. Once five children are registered, the session is full—even if Walla shows otherwise.
If you rely on childcare in order to attend class, please book childcare first, then confirm space in your preferred yoga class.

Each caregiver receives a pager to take into class. If your child needs you during the session—for a diaper change, bathroom help, or comfort—the pager will light up and buzz, signaling you to return to the childcare room.Age Requirements

- Bring a diapered child only if you’re available to return for diaper changes. Staff do not provide diapers.
- If your child needs restroom assistance, staff will notify you.
- No food is permitted in the childcare space. If your child has a medical need that requires snacks during their visit, please notify staff in advance.
- Sick children may not attend. Please keep your child home if they show any signs of illness.
What's with the Waitlist?
We limit childcare to 5–6 children per session for safety and space. Because of how our booking system (Walla) works, there’s a bit of a workaround needed to keep track of actual headcount.
Why this happens:
Walla only counts account holders, not the number of children in each drop-in.
So even if you book a drop-in for 2 or 3 kids, the system only registers it as one spot.
That means we have to manually track how many kids are coming to ensure we don’t go over capacity.
To help with this, we:
Notify families the night before class (before midnight)
If you’re confirmed and there is no waitlist, you’ll receive a booking confirmation via text and email.
If you’re added to the waitlist, you’ll receive a text and email letting you know.
If you’re moved off the waitlist and into class, you’ll receive a text and email confirming your spot.
If you’re not added due to limited space, you’ll receive a text and email letting you know that you were removed from the waitlist and are not in the class.
What to do if you missed the booking window:
You can call, text, or email us to ask if there’s still room.
We can sometimes manually add families if space allows.

Who can use childcare at Lucid Yoga?

How long can my child stay in childcare?
Children may stay for a maximum of 90 minutes per visit. Parents or guardians must remain on-site at Lucid Yoga for the duration of their class. If you are taking a class, please plan to pick up your child within 15 minutes of class ending.
Do I need to reserve childcare in advance?
Yes, childcare must be reserved at least 12 hours in advance to ensure proper staffing and space availability.
What if my child needs a diaper change?
Our staff does not change diapers. If a diaper change is needed, we will notify you to return to the childcare area.
Can my child use the restroom during childcare?
Children must be able to use the restroom independently or with their parent. The parent will be contacted if their child needs assistance.
Can I bring snacks for my child?
Snacks are not permitted in the childcare room unless medically necessary. If your child requires a snack for health reasons, please inform staff in advance and ensure it is allergen-free and packed in a sealed container. Lucid Yoga does not provide snacks.
What happens if my child becomes sick?
Children who are sick or showing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, vomiting, rash, etc.) cannot attend childcare. If your child becomes ill while in our care, we will notify you immediately for pick-up.
How does pick-up work?
Only individuals listed on your authorized pick-up list will be allowed to pick up your child. A valid ID may be required for verification.
What if I am late picking up my child?
Children must be picked up within 15 minutes after class ends. Late pick-ups may result in additional charges or suspension from childcare services.
What happens in case of an emergency?
In case of an emergency, we will contact you right away using the pager you’re given at check-in. The pager will buzz and light up, signaling you to return to the childcare room immediately. If medical attention is required, we will follow the emergency procedures outlined in your signed waiver.
What is your vaccination policy?
Lucid Yoga does not require proof of vaccination for children in our childcare space. While we encourage families to follow recommended pediatric health guidelines, participation in childcare is at your own discretion. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept any associated risks.
