The Heart of Lucid Yoga
Co-Founders

Trisha Zivkovic-Geiger
Co-Owner, Founder and Teacher
Trisha Zivkovic Geiger is a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Lucid Yoga. As a mindfulness advocate and mental health professional, she brings an intentional, grounded presence to the space. Lucid Yoga reflects her vision: a warm, supportive space where all students are welcome to grow at their own pace and in their own way.
Trisha sees yoga as a journey of self-discovery rooted in ancient wisdom and deeply relevant to modern life. Her classes weave movement, breath, and reflection to support clarity, balance, and a deeper connection to self.

Jason Geiger
Co-Owner and Founder
Jason has been practicing yoga even longer than Trisha, drawn to both the physical benefits and the sense of balance it brings to daily life. A longtime resident of Berea, he grew up in Middleburg Heights before settling into the city’s downtown, where he has built a deep connection to the community.
With a background in finance and a love for yoga, opening Lucid Yoga became a meaningful way to merge his skills and passions. He has always wanted to create something that strengthens and gives back to the community, and this studio is a reflection of that vision.
Teachers

Andrea Bates
As a former dancer of seventeen years, Andrea sought out yoga as a way to continue a form of creative movement following her college years. Once she discovered hot yoga, she dove into a regular disciplined practice. She received her yoga teacher training from Modern Yoga in 2018 and participated in a teacher apprentice program through Citizen Yoga to refine her teaching and alignment skills in 2019. Within Andrea's class you can expect a well crafted sequence tailored to a peak pose or theme. The creative flow and sequencing will allow any student to "step outside their mat" while still feeling centered.

Carla Bova
Carla is a certified 200-hour Yoga Instructor and Sound Healer who was introduced to Yoga through her husband—and quickly fell in love with the way it connected her mind and body like nothing else. Her classes blend creative movement with a curious, supportive energy, inviting you to meet yourself as you are while exploring your edge. Off the mat, Carla stays grounded in a beginner’s mindset, always learning and soaking up life. She can’t wait to connect with you soon!

Cassie Gibson
Cassie has been practicing yoga since 2011 and has been teaching since 2020. She completed her 200-HR YTT through the Awakening Yoga Academy and has studied under Patrick Beach, Carling Harps, and Bess Prescott. She is currently enrolled in a 500-HR program through the same school.
Her philosophy on the practice is to replace mindless repetition with conscious ritual. She has experience teaching many yoga formats, but is particularly drawn to teaching slow flow and vinyasa. In her classes, you can expect cueing that focuses on alignment, breath, and bringing students back to their intention.
Cassie enjoys teaching yoga because of the peace and joy it has brought to her over the last 14 years. Her hope as a teacher is to provide the tools her students need to find to fill their own cups and empower themselves both on and off the mat.
Though she loves yoga, her greatest joy is being a mom to her three boys. She also enjoys being in nature, crocheting and reading.

Cristene Bailey
Cristene has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and has recently received her 200 RYT. Cristene also practices reiki and plans to obtain her 300 YTT within the year. Her classes are a space to find safety and inclusion on or off the mat and when asked why she does yoga, Cristene simply states “because it saved my life”.

Marcia Camino
Marcia received her first yoga teacher certification in Amrit Yoga in 2004 and has taught ever since. She holds additional certifications in Yin and Children’s Yoga and has trained in Prenatal, Restorative, Kundalini, Bikram, Iyengar, and Yang styles. Marcia also holds certifications in Ayurveda Basics, Dancing Mindfulness™, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Mermaid Level 1 Training. A lifelong writer, she explores the art, science, and magic of both yoga and language and loves how the two disciplines interconnect. In every class, Marcia invites students to play with breath, attention, posture, movement, reflection, and softening as tools for growth. Her favorite advice, from Henry David Thoreau, has long-inspired her yoga teachings: “Save the drowning and tie your shoestrings.”

Tricia Bohanon
Tricia began practicing yoga in the early 1990s to relieve stress and increase her flexibility. She completed 200-HR yoga teacher training in March 2023 at Roots Yoga and 300-HR training online through Yogamu in 2024. She also has additional hours of training that includes 100-HR Kids Yoga, Reiki I/II, Sound Therapy, Yoga Sculpt, Barre, and Pilates Mat I. Tricia considers herself to be an "infinite student" of yoga. She constantly reads, listens to podcasts, and learns from the amazing teachers around her to keep her own classes fresh and focused. Tricia enjoys teaching a range of yoga styles, with special interest in mindfulness in breath and movement. In addition to her passion for yoga, Tricia loves music and has an extensive collection (1,400+) of vinyl records.

Veronica Correa
Veronica Correa is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher based in Cleveland, trained through The Yoga Den in Corona, California. She offers nurturing, intuitive classes that help students feel empowered, strong, and peaceful in their bodies. With a grounding presence, Veronica supports each student in connecting to their inner wisdom—trusting what’s within while expanding into new strength and self-awareness.
Drawn to yoga for its calming, meditative qualities, she now teaches as a way to share that steadying presence through all seasons of life. At Lucid Yoga, she was inspired by the heart-centered community and the studio’s emphasis on yoga as a path to deeper self-awareness and healing.
Off the mat, Veronica is passionate about cacao and its heart-opening properties, often creating warm, sensory rituals that bring people back to themselves.
Front Desk + Childcare Staff

Grace Shaffer
Childcare & Front Desk Associate
Grace has been caring for children for over 10 years, with experience ranging from newborns to adolescents. Grace believes every child is so unique, and she loves the way each one brings their unique personality, perspective, and sense of play to the world. Grace admires the honesty and authenticity that children have, and she believes that every child has just as much to teach us as we have to teach them.
Creating a nurturing, safe space where children feel welcome to join is incredibly important to Grace. Every child has different needs and ways of connecting, and understands the trust parents instill in caregivers of their little ones. Grace wants every child to feel safe, supported, and truly seen while their parent is enjoying their time on the mat.
A little about Grace: she grew up in Berea and now lives here with my partner, Drew, and their fur babies, their dog Steve, and two cats—Mae and Maui!
